Not very adventurist and we got the coconut cake appetizer (10/10) and the lobster tail pad Thai. I hate lobster…wife wanted it, it was amazing. I also hate spicy food and kept putting their chili powder mix on my plate. We’re moving to Oakland next month and this will be our primary date spot. Staff awesome, food awesome, chill, got to sit in the window.

Excellent all around — flavorful mouthfuls of tropical Thailand in every bite. Coconut Cakes, similar to a Vietnamese banh khot or Japanese takoyaki, a serious island happy vibe with pleasant surprises of shrimp and scallop. Isaan Style Yellowfin Tuna Tartare, served on crispy chewy rice cakes, is a citrusy-seafood triumph — a nod to any East Asian and Southeast Asian culture able to concoct something similar with rice, raw fish and citrus. Drunken Noodles, a top-notch collaboration with Smokin Woods BBQ (brisket), spicy, savory, smoky and herbaceous. Phenomenal. Thai-level spice excellent.

We recently dropped in for Oakland restaurant week and the food was excellent! The coconut cake ceviche is not what we would normally pick, but was really delicious - a combination of savory sweet coconut, cilantro, roe, and spicy chili! Next we had the vegetarian massaman curry and the drunken noodles. Personally I find noodles at restaurants can be very hit or miss, but these were delicious - pan seared with brisket and red peppers. The curry was great too!
